School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Safro Staffing is partnered with an Autism therapeutic service provider seeking a dedicated School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their growing team. Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and provide speech and language therapy services to students with a variety of communication disorders
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on each student's unique needs
  • Participate in the development, implementation, and annual review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and Medicaid billing (when applicable)
  • Collaborate with teachers, occupational therapists, physical therapists, behavioral staff, psychologists, and other members of the multidisciplinary team
  • Consult with parents, caregivers, and school personnel to support communication goals across educational settings
  • Conduct screenings, formal and informal assessments, and reevaluations in accordance with state and federal regulations
  • Provide recommendations for classroom accommodations, assistive technology, and communication strategies
  • Maintain compliance with all school, state, and federal special education guidelines

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates may be considered
  • Pennsylvania Department of Education Educational Specialist Certification
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably within a school-based or autism support setting
  • Knowledge of IDEA, IEP development, and special education regulations
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
