Responsibilities

\n\n

Evaluate, diagnose, and provide speech and language therapy services to students with a variety of communication disorders
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on each student's unique needs
Participate in the development, implementation, and annual review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and Medicaid billing (when applicable)
Collaborate with teachers, occupational therapists, physical therapists, behavioral staff, psychologists, and other members of the multidisciplinary team
Consult with parents, caregivers, and school personnel to support communication goals across educational settings
Conduct screenings, formal and informal assessments, and reevaluations in accordance with state and federal regulations
Provide recommendations for classroom accommodations, assistive technology, and communication strategies
Maintain compliance with all school, state, and federal special education guidelines

Qualifications

\n\n

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Active Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist license
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates may be considered
Pennsylvania Department of Education Educational Specialist Certification
Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably within a school-based or autism support setting
Knowledge of IDEA, IEP development, and special education regulations
Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
